Was this the kit you got for your phantom? If so, is it a RAINMAN CCM kit?

 

He's selling these kits for 85.00 and it looks AWESOME!

That's it. I didn't get the HitMan like mod though. I'll take a pic of my phantom to show you how it turned out. FYI-That handle doesn't overwelm the thin body of the phantom like we thought it would.

It's a standard Yello/Black VCS Phantom wiht CCM: Pump, Reg, Grip, Rail, and ASA and a Python Barrel sizer.  I had problems getting the velocity over 256 this weekend but after ticnkering around I found that the valve spring (9) needed lightened....I knew I kept those old Tracer springs around for a reason.  As for your idea of removeing the Tuned Port Compensater(20) and just adjusing off of the Reg, you'll bee to lighten the valve spring and find a really heavy main spring(19).  Numbers after parts match the Phantom diagram on www.phantomonline.com.

LOL....I worked on the springs as soon as I got home. It may not shoot under 340 now (chrono needs a new battery.)
