This thread is for all our friends back east whom we have had the pleasure of running and gunning this past weekend at CPX!

This past weekend was a blast; I am please to have finally met the Heritics, Ground Control and the Hellions. 3 of the MOST fun spirited and HARD core true ballers. That IS in my opinion exactly what a Woodsball Scenario team should be. All 3 of them dress the part, talked the talk and walked the walk. It was great to finally see true sportsmanship on the paintball field which almost mirrored that of the Elite Weekend.

I will not go into a DETAIL AFTER ACTIONS of the Event, so here are the meat and potatoes; Sat morning arrived early and set up PCP base camp, pre-selected personnel join the festivities, Sat noon game on and obtain a good feel for the field and interacted with multiple teams found out who could push the lines and who wouldn't. Held and pushed the front lines for the better part of the afternoon lead a large group of Marines and destroyed the Russian CP culminated with a smoke grenade. Repeated the pushes as needed and in most pictures the PCP can be seen in front at least 20 to 30 feet in front of the main body  web.mac.com/lonniedcolson/2008Season/CPX_Living_Legends.html 5 cases on Saturday and dinner battle alone, the fields played great and the weather was fantastic.

Saturday evening Dinner at a Steak house where close personal friends and entourage were present for an evening of great food and excellent company (conversation topics varied) all in all a great and peaceful evening.

Saturday night / Sunday Morning! The Russian home base was VIOLATED!
Sunday morning arrived early and continued the carnage; Saturday was more of the same as sat. But we stepped up the aggressiveness of our side. Our General Craig Miller was great in the fact that he actually listened to his troops and acted on current Intel.

Example: during an insertion we decided to take back the city I was taken out in the woods by flaking troops, I took the dead mans walk  back and reinserted, when I reached the front lines, I notice that we were over powered by both Delta and smart core personnel, recognizing their destructive potential I send a runner back to inform the command staff, but within seconds was taken out and walk off the field.

So I made the trek back and told Gen. Miller of what we had lost and the predicament we would find out selves in a matter of minutes, without blinking hey send Ground Control to complete a mission and to join us upon doing so. Everyone else was told to follow the clown and Stop the push. I was given about 30 players along with ROO and Hop-sing and went on to face the WALL. We made it about 80 yards before we hit resistance and then the machine which is the PCP kicked into gear. Gen. Miller joined us as we mowed thru the bushes and cleared out the city and pushed all the way back.

With about 50 strong they continued and surrounded the enemy base perimeter until their reinforcements arrived. We the Blue side would have been pinned in and our base Blown up if Gen. Miller had not acted on current Intel provided by Me. He trusted his troops and completed 2 additional mission from what I was told based on that information.

Final Battle: This was done a little bit differently but I liked it. For the 1st half hour there were no reinsertion only in the last 30 minutes was instant reinsertion allowed. Smoke! Confetti cap guns! Movie set buildings and streets along with a phone booth as well as lots of paint made that final battle a memorable one!

This is a Must do event next year for Memorial Day weekend, with green stuff on the trees it should make a much tougher battle thru the Thorny woods.

Facilities were good the food was pricy but we had our own stash, Many, many Thanks to Swammy and his Wife for all of the hospitality and long haul of the supplies needed to make this event doable and enjoyable.

Thanks to Hop-sing for making the journey, Krusty for being Krusty and Pogo for Listening and leaving his little pow-wow and getting out there to play.

I want to send a special thanks to Montydoom for making all the hotel and rental arraignments, to Krazy 8 for assisting and in representing in true Elite fashion!

A special Thanks goes out to Brian for Balling all weekend long next to me and to JOHN BROWN! LOL For putting up with all of our crazy antics. I think his name was steve or scott? And last but not least to Tiger and Jason I hope you guys had a Blast.

ABANDON ALL HOPE!

To all my new and old freinds, thanks for making this past weekend an event to remember! This is for sure an event not to miss! The Clowns may not have been out there strong in number, but with the numbers we had it sure looked like there was twice as many of us out there. We were all over the front line gunning with the best of them, directing and helping push the front line. Dinner battle on Sat. was really a sight to be seen. I lost count all the paint and smoke gernades that were thrown. But this was nothing compared to final battle on Sunday, I couldn't believe the amount of paint that was in the air. I know myself have never gone threw that much paint in a final battle. "Roo", he got to spend about an hour in the Black Heart tank blowing up the other side. Thanks Again guys, he can't stop talking about it! To my family of Clowns, Thanks for traveling out this way and spending some time on the field together! I look forward to and can't wait until the next time. TO all that couldn't make it you missed out for sure!

Honk Honk...Clowns 4 Life!!!

What if the Hokey Pokey is really what it's all about?

Guys...it was an absolute pleasure hitting the field with all of you! The game was incredible...the field amazing...the paint and weather was perfect...the sportsmanship was better than any scenario I remember recently...

But...none of that would have mattered without the opportunity to hang out with great friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You made us feel part of the gang.
