Greetings from the WTL,
We are getting very close to February 15th, 21 days to be exact. The news just keeps on getting better and better.
It seems everyday sponsors are asking to get involved with the WTL.
Plus the players that have decided to volunteer instead of play has been a great help to us, and we thank them all.
As we have stated before, no good deed goes un-rewarded, all players that volunteer will get a free pass for the next event.
If you know any company, organization or person that would like to set up a booth at the event,
let them know it’s free, all they have to do is add something to the raffle prizes.
This is a great opportunity for them to expose their product or services.
Oh, did we mention it’s free!
We will have a DJ spinning your favorite tunes.
We will be doing a team introduction after the Captains meeting.
Your team will gather under the WTL welcome sign, and we will play yours teams song while introducing you.
It’s very exciting and adds to a sense of team cohesion and solidity.
If you don’t have a song don’t worry we will have a DJ there with tons.
Here are a list of things we need from you before Wednesday February 4th
· Team BIO and picture.
· Teams song, we will only use around 1 minute of it.
· List of team members that will play in our event, and captains name.
· Area your team is from.
· Any special needs anyone on your team requires
We have decided on the limited paint rule for this event.
Two 140 count pods per player only.
Regular players can share paint.
Heavy gunner cannot share paint
Heavy gunner can carry as much paint as they want.
No gun restrictions. (see rules for full details)
· All hopper bps Welcome
· All gun modes: Pump, Simi-Auto, and Full auto Welcome
· Side arms: Pistol, Sling shots Welcome.
Last rule we need your team to decide on.
Do gun hits count?
Or should it just be body hits.
The secondary weapon idea that was proposed, it stated: If your primary weapon was hit, you can use a secondary weapon such as a side arm or sling shot, We milled it over and decided, it would make things more realistic, but it also might make things more confusing, so no on that this time around.
We want to thank all the forums for their passion on the gun rule issue.
I believe this is just proving our point, that Woodsball / Mil-Sim / Scenario players
are a tight group of concerned players that want to have a safe and fair playing environment.
If this attitude leaks out to the rest of the world, maybe big paintball sponsors will come
knocking on our doors and want to get involved in your teams future.
We will keep you informed to anything newsworthy as we get it.
Captains please forward this to all your players.
Thank you again for choosing to play in the WTL.
We are looking forward to seeing your team in action.
Check out the updates below.
