Just so everyone can know what as been going on....    here is a, hopefully, quick status update:

I only played between 4 - 6 times in 2009 due to the issues with my Elbow & Wrist.   Two of the times were 24 hour events where I could only endure the first days activity.

I finally got back in to see a Doctor about the injuries on 12/30.   
Results of that appointment are:  
The Elbow has finally healed, though it is still sore at times.
The Wrist requires surgery....    they want to schedule it ASAP due to the damage it is continuing to incur.   Proposed surgery date of either 1/19 or 1/21

I don't know how long this will restrict my ability to play.

I hope things heal up for you quickly ... I know how difficult it is having injuries like that, none the less, having to go in for surgery ...

4 weeks after surgery....

The Doctor likes the way it straightened out,   the cast is off,   I "might" set off metal detectors due to the steel plate in the arm,   I'm still limited as to how much I can lift & do,   I'm still going to have to do therapy since my currrent range of motion is limited as well.

Good news is:  I've been released to PLAY Paintball with the understanding that I work Left Handed or with a pistol and don't do anything stupid.  (Who Me????)

The Scar is just short of 4" long....    it's a beauty.

Update….

Wrist is healing well though it will be 3 – 6 Months before it’s fully healed.

The Game was a blast, I just wish I was in better shape.  I ran out of stamina before the day was over and left early.

One thing that got either a laugh, or a High Five, was in the 4^th or 5^th round when I got pissed and pulled a flanking move with a pistol.   We took the Castle (the only time it was taken) because of that move.

Latest update....

60% healed, restrictions lifted, and starting to try to find more time to play.

I'll be at the King of the Hill game at CPP on 4/15 if anyone wants to join me.
